Connects You – Terms and Conditions (updated Sept. 28th, 2023)

1. Acceptance of Terms:
   By registering for a membership with Connects You (referred to as “Connects You,” “we,” “our,” or “us”), you agree to abide by these Terms and Conditions. These terms govern your membership and use of our platform. If you do not agree with these terms, please do not proceed with registration or use of our services.
2. Membership and Subscription:
   a. Membership to Connects You is available here. You will gain access to our platform’s resources, community, and services upon payment of these fees.
   b. All payments for membership are non-refundable once processed.
3. Membership Cancellation:
   a. Memberships are automatically renewed on a monthly basis unless canceled by the member.
   b. You may cancel your membership at any time by contacting our support team or through your account settings.
   c. Cancellation will be effective at the end of the current billing cycle, and no refunds will be issued for the remaining period.
4. Account Responsibility:
   a. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials.
   b. You are solely responsible for any actions taken on your account, including but not limited to content posted and purchases made.
5. Use of Platform:
   a. You agree to use the Connects You platform in accordance with our guidelines, which include but are not limited to respecting the rights and privacy of others, refraining from posting harmful content, and adhering to all applicable laws and regulations.
   b. Connects You reserves the right to suspend or terminate any account that violates these guidelines or is engaged in fraudulent or harmful activities.
6. Content Ownership:
   a. Users retain ownership of the content they post on the platform.
   b. By posting content on Connects You, you grant us a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to use, reproduce, and display your content for the purpose of providing our services.
7. Privacy Policy:
   Your use of Connects You is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which outlines how we collect, use, and protect your personal information.
8. Limitation of Liability:
   a. Connects You is provided “as is,” and we make no warranties, express or implied, regarding the availability, accuracy, or reliability of our platform.
   b. We shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of our platform.
9. Governing Law:
   These Terms and Conditions are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the province of Ontario, Canada.
10. Changes to Terms:
    We reserve the right to modify these Terms and Conditions at any time. Any changes will be communicated to members, and your continued use of the platform after such changes constitutes acceptance of the modified terms.
